Catching Up...

I know, I know... I've recieved some emails from family that don't have facebook and are missing our pictures. Truth is I haven't had time to keep up with this. Kudos to my mommy blogging friends who are able to update monthly, it's hard!

Jake is 9 1/2 months now and still a very happy easy going baby. He brings joy to every day with his new coos and laughter. We are sitting up independantly and prefers not to crawl. It's amazing to watch how he can quickly roll over and over until he gets to his destination.

Logan as you will see below just turned 4. Buzz is the Buzz. Everything is Buzz Lightyear and we are so thankful he got 6 pairs of Buzz Lightyear jammies between his birthday and Christmas because that's the only clothing option every night. Logan got some really cool battery operated Buzz wings and I think he truely believes he is Buzz...we just have to watch out for things getting knocked off tables and make sure Jake's not in the path of destruction.

6 months old today!

I'm afraid I've gotten away from updating our blog for a while but what better day to start back up again!? Jake's 6 months old now and wow is he changing! I've never seen a happier baby, always smiling and laughing. Jakes favorite thing is being entertained by Logan, they can just sit and laugh at each other for no reason but that the other one is laughing! Jake occassionally will roll from his back to his belly. We introduced cereal a couple of months ago in hopes he may sleep more sound...that didn't work. After still waking up every 2 hrs we knew he needed some food. Jake LOVED his green beans from day one. This kid likes to eat! We're working on some teeth now but he doesn't seem to get too cranky just wants to eat everything. I'm happy that we made our goal of 6 months of breastfeeding but that process is slowing down since I'm so busy now. We miss all of our family that live away from us, I hope this helps you feel a little closer.

These boys melt my heart.

My little man! Logan is changing and growing in every way every day. He continues to amaze us with his creative imagination, loving heart, and communication skills. I keep getting asked if he is in Kindergarten this year!!! My baby is still 3 for a little while and I sure don't want it to go any faster than it already seems to be. Logan continues to be an amazing big brother to Jake, just can't love on him enough!

Jake

Little Jake is now 4 months old! Everyone tells us how blessed we are to have such a good baby and we know! Jake's personality is so laid back and he is always smiling. He has the best belly laugh and sometimes just looking at him makes him giggle. Jake ADORES Logan and his whole face lights up when he sees him. We're still working on the whole idea of sleeping through the night. He wakes up to eat about every 2-3 hours right now despite the addition of formula and cereal. I'm amazed at how I'm able to function on 4-5 hours of sleep, I think my body just accepted it to be the new norm.

Logan

Logan is loving the summer heat. This summer "someone" taught Logan how to pee in the grass, now he can be found taking his clothes off ANYWHERE to sprinkle the soil. Logan's favorite thing is still his little red rocket from The Little Einsteins. "3 legs rocket" must go everywhere with him and it does! We recently had to purchase a back up rocket off of ebay for $25. Trust me it is worth it. The first thing he wants to do is play with "Jakey" when he gets home. He kisses him all over his head and says, "Jakey Jakey Jakey I missed you sooooooo much today!"
